The JR-30 is built around the Resonant Plate System — the technology that defines every SONO instrument. Here, however, the system finds one of its most natural expressions: a floating ebony bridge resting directly on the Resonant Plate, a suspended tailpiece and a magnetic pickup. The essential elements of a traditional archtop, reinterpreted through a contemporary structural approach.

The result is a guitar conceived for the modern jazz player: lightweight, ergonomic and deeply expressive, with an immediate acoustic sensitivity and a musical identity entirely its own.
