More than
five years
of research.
SONO is the result of over five years of continuous experimentation and scrupulous dedication. Born from an original idea of luthier Giovanni Ingallinera, the project evolved through constant interaction with violinists and musicians, driven by the desire to rethink the relationship between player, structure and sound.
More than 300 prototypes were developed in the search for the right balance between acoustics, ergonomics and aesthetic identity. While the finest CNC technologies are employed to achieve the required standards of precision, every other stage of construction — from material selection to finishing, assembly and final adjustment — is carried out by hand, one instrument at a time, in our workshop in Ragusa, Sicily.
Limited production.
Uncompromised quality.
In keeping with our philosophy, and to preserve the individuality of every SONO instrument, production is intentionally limited. Orders are placed on a waiting list, and estimated delivery times are communicated directly upon request.
Standard instruments are covered by a withdrawal period after delivery, allowing musicians to experience the instrument before making a final decision. Custom configurations can also be discussed directly upon request.
